A word from Lyn:

After taking on the stewardship of the woodwork section, this being the third year, I wanted to breathe new life into the job by giving it a new direction for the benefit of all. I like to think that our new way of doing things makes us more approachable on all levels and allows us to encourage and nurture new talent no matter what age they may be.

Last year we were fortunate enough to have two of our best wood carvers from the Ipswich Woodcraft Club entrust their exquisite carvings to our care for exhibition only. These two lovely gentlemen were also kind enough to participate in our demonstrations along with a large collection of our regular wood turners and fretwork artisans. Another hit with the kids was our special guest Dorothy and her dinosaurs accompanied by husband Brian.

The main focus of our participation in the show is to have fun and encourage others to do likewise.

SO COME AND JOIN THE PARTY, YOU WON’T BE SORRY !!!
